• On February 17, 2019, the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on Reciprocal Visa-Free Travel comes into force.
• According to the agreement, citizens of the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates, holders of valid passports of any type (diplomatic, special, ordinary, which are still valid for a period not less than six (6) months), and who have no intention to work, study or live in the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates, are relieved from visa requirements and have the right to enter, stay or transit through the other country on a 90-day visa-free basis.
• The total period of authorized stay should not exceed ninety (90) days within each period of one hundred eighty (180) days.
• UAE and Russian citizens shall cross the border only through the crossing points open to international passenger traffic in accordance with the legislation of the State of each Party.
