His Excellency Mubarak Almheiri was appointed Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Houston. As Consul General, Almheiri works to promote the important UAE-US bilateral relationship and expand business and cultural ties in Texas and Southern US region.
Consul General Almheiri joined the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in March 2016, Prior to his current position, he served as the Deputy Director of Finance Resources Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi, from 2021, and before that he worked as head of support services section at the UAE Embassy in Canada-Ottawa from 2019-2021, and , served as Head of Information and reporting section-development cooperation department from 2016-2019.
Consul General Almheiri worked as Sales Support Manager at the Emirates Airline for three years, and in different sectors throughout his career.
Consul General Almheiri received his bachelor’s degree of Science in Management.
Throughout his career, Consul General Almheiri completed numerous courses and, earned various certificates in diplomacy, artificial intelligence, management, and other fields.
