New Diplomatic, Consular, International Organizations, Special ID Cards Issuance

Start Service

The request for (Diplomatic, Consular, International Organizations and Special) ID cards is regarded as residence permits for their holders. The cards must be presented at UAE airports on arrival and departure and must be returned to MoFA by the embassy on final departure from the UAE.

 

Service Procedures

 

  • 1. Register
    + (enter the username and password shared with entities authorized to apply for the service.)
  • 2. Submit a request
    + (fill in the service form and attach the required documents.)
  • 3. You will receive a confirmation email
  • 4. Receiving the request
    + (You will receive an email informing you that the ID card is ready to be delivered.)

Service Beneficiaries

  • Administrative staff and their children who hold special passports, for a mission and official service only, and for staff working in consulates and embassies of their country accredited to the UAE (Abu Dhabi).
  • Heads of Regional and International Organizations accredited to the UAE and their family members (spouse and children), according to the provisions set forth in the headquarters agreement.
  • Diplomatic staff members in Foreign Missions accredited to the UAE and their families (spouse and children).

Required Documents

· A color copy of the passport with an entry stamp

· A personal photo with a white background

· A copy of the visa, if any

1. The application must be correctly filled

2. The mission must ensure that the staff member does not have a valid residence visa on the passport when applying for the card

3. Check the passport expiry date to ensure that it does not exceed six months
