The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Kingdom of the Netherlands launched an initiative to express the solidarity of the UAE with the Kingdom of the Netherlands in light of the Covid-19 pandemic under the slogan “As long as there’s life, there’s hope”.
The initiative included a speech delivered by Her Excellency Dr. Hissa Alotaiba, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in which she expressed the solidarity of the UAE with the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the light of combating the Covid-19 virus. It was published on the Embassy’s official page on social media channels.
As part of the initiative, flowers were presented to the medical staff in a hospital in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, honouring the medical staff for their efforts in facing the virus. Also, the slogan "As long as there’s life, there’s hope" was raised on the building of the Embassy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The media and newspapers in the Kingdom of the Netherlands reported on the Embassy’s initiative and promoted it.
The initiative aimed at raising morale and at spreading the spirit of hope among members of society, and also to confirm the role of the Emirati government in helping other countries confronting the Covid-19 pandemic.
