Cultural relations between the UAE and Ukraine have witnessed a remarkable development during the recent years:
- Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Culture between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the United Arab Emirates was signed in 2017.
- Delegation of 60 Ukrainian artists participated in Sharjah Heritage Days at the end of April 2019.
- The National Ballet Ensemble of Ukraine performed the play "Sleeping Beauty" in Dubai Opera on April 26-27 2019.
- UAE Embassy in Kyiv organized Emirati Culture Day in December 2019 where Emirati culture, traditions and heritage were presented.
- A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of tourism development between the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine and the UAE Ministry of Economy was signed on February 14th, 2021 during the visit of the president of Ukraine to the UAE
