The World Tolerance Summit is a two-day conference that aims to strengthen the UAE’s position as a model of co-existence and cultural tolerance around the world. The gamut of private, public and influential stakeholders will work to explore avenues of improvement, including legislation, education, access to information and individual empowerment.
The World Tolerance Summit will take place at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam. Representatives from ministries and corporations as well as academe, religious and cultural organisations, influencers and research institutes are expected at this event to power the goals for enhanced cultural understanding through interactive dialogue, presentations and networking opportunities. The 2018 edition saw the attendance of over 1,800 people from 105 countries.
This conference is an initiative of the International Institute for Tolerance, a part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, in conjunction with the Year of Tolerance.
