Anyone planning travel from Argentina to Dubai should be fully aware of specific travel regulations and requirements. Before travel, tourists must check with their airline for specific details relevant to their country of departure. All tourists and GCC citizens must hold a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate from an officially recognized testing centre, taken no more than 72 hours before departure, which must be presented in printed format on arrival in Dubai, in English or Arabic only. Handwritten certificates will not be accepted. Some travelers may be required to undergo additional testing on arrival. On arrival in Dubai, tourists must download and register on the COVID-19 DXB Smart App. Children under the age of 12 and passengers with moderate to severe disabilities are exempt from PCR test requirements. Travelers from Argentina to Abu Dhabi will be required to present a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test received within 96 hours prior to their scheduled departure. Upon entering the emirate, travelers will be given a PCR test at the airport and must wait for the negative result to be received, after which they will be required to self-isolate for 10 days, and will be given an electronic wristband for tracking purposes. All travelers will need to take a PCR test on day 8, and the electronic wristband will be removed on day 10.
