The United Arab Emirates has won the membership of the Executive Council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemicals Weapons (OPCW) for the period 2020-2022 representing the Group of Asian Member States in the (OPCW). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with its accredited missions abroad and the State's Embassy in The Hague made a great effort to obtain the membership of the Executive Council.
