H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah bin Saeed Al Matrooshi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Romania met with His Excellency Ferdinand Nagy, Commissioner General of Romania at Expo 2020 Dubai, with a view to discuss the fundamental details related to Romania's participation in the global exhibition that will be held in the United Arab Emirates, from 1st October, 2021 to 31st March, 2022.
The meeting provided an opportunity for discussing the essential role of Expo 2020 Dubai, as it will host events from all over the world, witnessing the participation of more than 200 international entities and the presence of millions of visitors, in an atmosphere of celebration, cooperation and optimism, aiming, at the same time, at a brighter future.
In this context, the parties have also emphasized the fruitful cooperation relations existing between the United Arab Emirates and Romania, in various fields of common interest to the two friendly countries.
