Can I apply for a tourist visa to the United Arab Emirates via the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Prague?

The Embassy of the United the Arab Emirates in Prague issues visas to holders of diplomatic passports and special passports on the basis of a verbal note from the diplomatic mission. For holders of regular passports (normal passports for nationalities other than the Czech Republic), you may apply for a visa via any of the following airlines: Emirates Airlines, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, provided that you have purchased a ticket through them. You can also apply via hotels in the United Arab Emirates or via friends or family living in the United Arab Emirates.

You will need to prepare the following documents and contact the consular department of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Prague: • Copy of your old passport • New passport – must not be a temporary passport • A police report from the Police of the Czech Republic, that has been translated into Arabic by a sworn translator and legalised by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Prague • Letter from your sponsor • Copy of your residence permit • Passport size photo (1 piece)

I need to superlegalise my educational certificate / birth certificate / marriage certificate / power of attorney / commercial document /invoice. What are the fees and what is the process of legalising the document?

The fees for superlegalising regular certificates (certificates of a non-commercial nature) such as educational certificates, diplomas, birth certificates and marriage certificates are 150 Dirhams for each legalisation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The fees for superlegalising commercial documents are 2000 Dirhams for each legalisation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The fees for superlegalising invoices depends on the total value of the invoice. After submitting the original of the document that has been legalised by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the consular department, you will be emailed information on how to make the payment online using a payment card via the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation website.

I was a resident of the United Arab Emirates and I need to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate / Certificate of Good Conduct for use in the Czech Republic.

1. You may apply for this certificate via the Police in Dubai, regardless of whether you were a resident of Dubai or not.
