The two countries also exchange high level periodic official visits, the most prominent of which are as follows:
- An official visit of His Excellency Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal to the United Arab Emirates, from 13 to 15th March 2019.
- Note that this visit is his first abroad following his re-election to the presidential elections in Senegal.
- An official visit to the United Arab Emirates by the President of the Senegalese Parliament, His Excellency Mustapha NIASSE, from 5 to 9th of September 2018.
- The Visit of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates to The Republic of Senegal on 5th March 2018.
- The visit of Her Excellency Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, of the United Arab Emirates to The Republic of Senegal on the 2nd of February 2018, to participate in the third financing conference for the Global Partnership for Education.
- The visit of His Excellency Sidiki Kaba , Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the eighth session of the "Sir Bani Yas" Forum, which was held from the 03rd to 05th of November 2017 in Abu Dhabi.
- The visit of His Excellency Macky Sall President of the Republic of Senegal to the United Arab Emirates from 12th to the 14th February 2017, to participate in the fifth session of the World Government Summit in Dubai.
- The visit of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Minister of Foreign Affairs of The United Arab Emirates to The Republic of Senegal from 21st to 22nd of October 2015, on the sidelines of the joint committee’s meeting in Dakar.
- The Visit of His Excellency Macky Sall President of the Republic of Senegal to the United Arab Emirates from 02nd to the 03rd of December 2016 to attend the World Summit for the Safeguarding of endangered world cultural Heritage in Abu Dhabi.
- The visit to the United Arab Emirates of His Excellency Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, Senegalese Minister of the Interior in November 2016 at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates.
- The visit to Senegal of His Excellency Dr. Obaid Al Hiri Al Kutbi, Assistant to the Minister for Military and Security Affairs of the United Arab Emirates on 19-11-2019, to attend the Sixth Edition of Dakar International Forum for Peace And Security In Africa.
