Australia and the UAE officially established diplomatic ties on March 10, 1975, a few years after the UAE's formation in 1971. Our relationship is built on a foundation of trust and a mutual vision for the future.
The diplomatic ties between the UAE and Australia are deep and multifaceted. Since 1971 the ties between the UAE and Australia have expanded to cover the breadth of international cooperation including in security, defence, education, healthcare, renewable energy, innovative technology, and space exploration.
