His Excellency Sultan Mohamed Majed Al Ali was born on 3rd September, 1964, in Abu Dhabi. H.E. holds a BA degree in Mass Communication and Public Administration from the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU).
A career diplomat, His Excellency was appointed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 19th December, 1982 and progressed in His career; H.E. Ambassador Al Ali has assumed key positions both within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and abroad in various UAE Embassies; His Excellency worked at the UAE embassies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Kuwait.
His Excellency was also a member on the Board of Directors at the National Media Council in the United Arab Emirates. He was the Director of the Government Communication Department at the Ministry and served as the UAE Ambassador to Greece and non-resident Ambassador to Albania (2014-2018), as well as the UAE Ambassador to Dublin, Ireland (2018-2022). His Excellency is currently the UAE Ambassador to Romania.
Over the course of his career, His Excellency has worked extensively on a broad range of issues in diplomacy. H.E. headed many diplomatic political meetings. H.E. also represented the state in national, regional, and international conferences and fora, and has built long lasting partnerships with his counterparts, governments, and other international organizations, as well as the civil society.
H.E. Sultan Al Ali was awarded with the Star for Valour and Merit by the Minister of National Defense of Greece, during His tenure as UAE Ambassador in Greece.
