- The UAE Embassy in the Hellenic Republic organized the Emirati-Greek Cultural Week, which was held for the first time in Athens on 22-26 October 2018, in coordination with the Ministry of Digital Policy, Communications and Information in the Hellenic Republic, the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and Zayed University.
- There are also joint initiatives with Greece taking place on an annual basis, such as:
- The International Conference on "Religious and Cultural Pluralism and Peaceful Coexistence in the Middle East", which is held in Athens every two years.
- The International Conference on "Security and Stability", which is held annually on the Greek island of Rhodes, and focuses on the issues of southern Europe and the Middle East.
